Slow Cooker Pulled Pork (from Katie Guymon)
-2 lb. pork tenderloin or pork roast
-1 can or bottle root beer or cola, 12 fluid ounce
-1 bottle of your favorite BBQ sauce, 18 ounce
-8 hamburger buns
1. Place pork tenderloin or roast in slow cooker.
2. Season meat with salt, pepper and garlic salt.
3. Pour root beer or cola over the meat.
4. Cover and cook on low until pork shreds easily, 8 to 10 hours.
5. Drain well.
6. Stir in BBQ sauce.
7. Serve on hamburger buns.
We are having our pulled pork sandwiches with corn, macaroni and cheese (in the freezer from Thanksgiving) and corn muffins. YUM!
